Avenue of Flags was a donation of
44 Flag Poles finished in
November 2021
Bakersfield is one of the only National Cemeteries we are aware of that keeps flags up year round, because of the prohibitive replacement cost.
The public continues to comment how much they love to see the flags up when they visit the grounds, but the wear and tear from the winds and weather are very hard on the flags.
The committee fundraises to purchase the 44 new beautiful American flags for the public to enjoy.

Public Flag Placement After Service
We love our community volunteers to join us at the service and for the advance flag holder placement and post event pickup.
Please consider participating, we love having youth experience this with us, too.

Our Bar-B-Q is set for August 22, 2026

2024 Donation
We purchase a lawn mower for the smaller places that the big mower will not fit. We also bought 2 Benches,Trees and gravel for a Reflection Area and is beening worked on. Pictures pending project beening finished.
